Trimpley Anglers Association, Bewdley, Worcestershire, DY12 1PJ

Trimpley reservoir is situated 2 miles north of Bewdley, in the heart of the Severn Valley, bordering on the side of the river Severn with the Severn Valley Railway along the opposite bank; all framed by a woodland backdrop.

The reservoir measures approximately 33 acres in size and can be fished almost the entire bank along its 1 mile perimeter.

Facilities at Trimpley include convenient hard surface car parking close to water, with further parking space for disabled anglers close along the water's edge, and access to a wheelchair platform area.

A fishing lodge office is provided, along with male and female toilets on site.

Fly Fishing at Trimpley

The reservoir is stocked annually, beginning in February each year with additional 4 or 5 stockings, totalling in excess of 3,000 rainbow trout.

The average caught rainbow is around 2-3lbs, with additional larger specimens added.

Trimpley Angling Association has a catch and release policy subject to type of permit acquired. Details further below.

Coarse fishing at Trimpley

The reservoir is well-stocked with Bream, Perch, Roach, Chub, Barbel, etc. Coarse fishing commences in June when the reservoir becomes a mixed fishery, for game and coarse anglers.

The coarse angling section has a thriving match section who fish alternate Sundays, with match-winning weights sometimes in excess of 100lbs.
